From the moment of first discovery, I fell a little in love with these tiny microscopic organisms. And while I have never seen one with my naked eye, I know they are everywhere. That knowledge makes me feel a little less alone in the world.
The Tardigrade is my spirit animal. I could call them my obsession, or my muse, or what I look like stuffed in a swimsuit. When I see them I am instantly reminded just how very strong we are. How we survive thru the most extreme experiences. How we can resurrect over and over again. I like the tardigrade for its hardiness.
