I have no idea why I spent 5 minutes of my day photoshopping Halle Berry’s Breasts onto my dress. Then I spent the next several hours in deep turmoil over weather to post pictures of it.  I obviously look PHENOMENAL..but beyond that…the image poses a lot of questions. I have thoroughly enjoyed the the turmoil in my head about photoshop, nature, sex, body image, morality, beauty, false advertising, censorship, fabric choices, and perversion.

 Those just happen to be some of my favorite topics and this image is the poster child for them all.
Several of my friends, in unrelated circles posted pictures on facebook today of Halle Berry in this dress, in some versions the dress was opaque, some it was see-thru and the comments run the gamut. Some people think the dress is inappropriate, some think it’s appalling, some think its fake some think its real, some think its beautiful, some want to be alone with it.

   I just like how powerful an image it is to stir so much conversation.

For me it also brought up human rights strangely tied to the subject of friendship. It took me 2 seconds to decide I was gonna Berry Boob myself, and so I did…leaving innocent victims in my photo….here my friends are just posing for a picture and next thing you know I go and take my virtual shirt off…thats not fair to the people standing next to me…so I cropped them out…which is also kind of not fair. What is it that you are signing up for when your photo is snapped, where will you end up…and how?

I guess this image could also toy with the subject of race. Why it is for instance I look perfectly natural with interracial breasts? Or the subject of nipples…why man nipples are everywhere and female nipples are not. That question drives me insane. I think about nipples a lot.

  I have drawn the conclusion that a great way to get comfortable with our natural bodies is to photoshop them naked onto our synthetic clothes. The more I look at this, the more I want all my shirts to have Halle Berry Boobs.  A trend is brewing my friends.

Note* If this photo makes you at all uncomfortable…my deep apologies AND… also I would love to hear why. It makes me uncomfortable…but I honestly can’t pin down the reason. Maybe cause I stole someone else’s boobs?
